Mazdutide (IBI362 / LY3305677) is a GLP-1 receptor and glucagon receptor dual agonist and oxyntomodulin analog developed by Innovent Biologics under license from Eli Lilly. In the literature it is studied mainly for obesity and type 2 diabetes. Outside its approval in China it is an investigational research compound, and the version sold to laboratories is a research chemical, not an approved medicine.
Regulatory status: Not FDA-approved and investigational in the US and most of the world as of 2026. Its injectable form was approved by China's NMPA in June 2025 for weight management in adults with obesity or overweight; that approval does not apply elsewhere.
