The best peptide educators to follow in 2026

Peptide content is a swamp of sales funnels wearing lab coats. These are the voices worth your time — with every commercial interest labeled, because that's the whole point of this site.

The rule we apply to vendors applies to talking heads too: trust is earned by disclosure, not by production quality. Everyone on this list is a real, active voice in peptide science or testing as of 2026, everyone got here on the merit of their content, and everyone's commercial interests are stated plainly — because nearly all of them have some. That last column is what most "who to follow" lists leave out.

The science communicators

Andrew Huberman, PhD — Stanford neuroscientist behind the Huberman Lab podcast (hubermanlab.com). His 2024 solo episode on the benefits and risks of peptide therapeutics, and the 2026 three-hour peptide masterclass with internal-medicine physician Abud Bakri, MD (abudbakri.com), are the most accessible serious introductions to the topic anywhere. Know that: he's not a peptide specialist, and the show carries heavy sponsorship.

Peter Attia, MD — longevity physician and host of The Drive (peterattiamd.com). The skeptic's counterweight: his episodes on separating peptide science from marketing hype are the best antidote to the enthusiasm everywhere else. Much of his catalog is paywalled, and his default position on most research peptides is caution — which is exactly why he belongs on this list.

The clinical educators

William Seeds, MD — board-certified orthopedic surgeon, author of Peptide Protocols, and founder of the SSRP Institute (ssrpinstitute.org), which trains physicians in peptide therapy. Probably the best-known physician-educator in the clinical peptide world. He sells the certification courses he teaches.

Craig Koniver, MD — performance-medicine physician (koniverwellness.com) and Huberman Lab guest on peptide and hormone therapies. Runs a clinic and provider training, so the framing is clinical-commercial.

Kyle Gillett, MD — dual board-certified in family and obesity medicine; covers GH secretagogues and peptide-adjacent hormone science on the Gillett Health podcast and YouTube. Operates a telehealth practice.

Rand McClain, DO — regenerative and sports-medicine physician (drrandmcclain.com) with a long-running peptide blog series. Media-forward; sells clinical services.

Tyna Moore, ND, DC — the most prominent educator on GLP-1 microdosing and metabolic health (drtyna.com). Note the credential (naturopathic physician, not MD), that she sells GLP-1 courses, and that her microdosing stance is contested by mainstream clinicians — follow for the argument, verify against the literature.

The analysts

Derek, More Plates More Dates — no medical credential, and the deepest pharmacology explainers in the niche anyway (YouTube). The conflict list is real: he owns a supplement company and co-founded a telehealth lab-work platform. His analysis is still consistently more mechanistic than most MDs' content — consume accordingly.

Jay Campbell — author and educator (not a physician, whatever a podcast intro says) with a large peptide resource hub at jaycampbell.com. Promotional in style and affiliated with vendors; useful as a map of what the enthusiast side believes, not as a neutral source.

Janoshik Analytical — not a personality but worth following like one: the Czech lab (janoshik.com) whose public test results database is the closest thing this space has to a shared evidence base. See our full testing-lab guide.

Institutional sources that beat any influencer

The FDA's human drug compounding pages are the primary source for what's actually permitted — it's where the BPC-157 compounding restrictions live, in plain text. Examine.com covers peptide-adjacent compounds with referenced, sales-free evidence summaries. When an influencer and these sources disagree, the boring source wins.

How to follow anyone in this space

Three habits: check what they sell before weighing what they say; prefer episodes with citations you can pull; and remember that "works in a rat tendon model" and "works" are different claims — our research library lists the actual experimental model behind every citation for exactly this reason.
